OUR PEOPLE
Barry Knepper, CPA, has had a 40-year career as a senior financial executive including the international public accounting firm, Ernst and Young. While serving as CFO of a $100 million company he managed its initial public offering (“IPO”) and raised a total of more than $100 million of equity and debt financing for expansion. Barry is a member of the Board of Directors and chairman of the audit committee of Coffee Holding Company, a publicly traded integrated wholesale coffee roaster and distributor.
Ken (Akiva) Manne, CPA, has over 30 years’ experience as a senior financial executive including the national public accounting firm, EisnerAmper . Ken served as controller of a major food franchisor and CFO for several smaller companies. His expertise includes franchise financial statement auditing, royalty auditing and as a part time CFO. He specializes in in obtaining bank financing, budgeting, business plans and business valuation.
Monis Siddiqui, CPA, has over 17 years of audit and assurance services experience at national public accounting firms Marcum, LLP and Berdon, PPL. He provides guidance to the firm and its professionals in matters related to technical application of standards and adherence to professional standards. He is responsible for all aspects of quality control including engagement and performance review.
Muhammad Zubairy, CPA, has over 10 years of public accounting experience. Prior to joining The Franchise CPA, he worked for Marcum, LLP as a financial statement auditor. He assists in various tax planning, tax preparation & advisory services and annual financial statement preparation services.
Rizwan Ahmed, CPA, has 16 years’ experience including at regional public accounting firms providing auditing, accounting, tax, consulting, and mergers/acquisitions services. He provides financial forecasting, monthly controllership, part time CFO as well as tax preparation and planning services He also represents clients in tax disputes with the IRS and other taxing agencies.
Imran Khan, has over 12 years of tax experience at national accounting firm Marcum. He specializes in tax planning strategies by providing clients assistance with calculation of tax credits, deferral strategies and providing bonus depreciation through cost-segregation studies. He defends clients on multistate tax audits, advises clients on structuring, income allocations, budgets, forecasts and cash flow analytics.
